Principal Group Product Manager, B2B
Job Description
Okta is seeking a Principal Group Product Manager for B2B to shape tenancy and organization lifecycle management across the Auth0 and Okta platforms. You will own the product vision and roadmap for multi-tenant B2B SaaS, focusing on tenancy as a service, schema-driven operations, and a central orchestration plane, while partnering closely with independent software vendors and developers.

Responsibilities
- Conduct hands-on research and prototypes of identity and tenancy solutions, validating viability through market tests.
- Embed yourself in B2B software development to understand how multi-tenant SaaS is built, identifying common pain points and opportunities to articulate challenges and solutions.
- Own the lifecycle of B2B mass management tooling, driving a strategy that simplifies administration for hundreds of thousands of B2B organizations.
- Architect a roadmap for schema-driven operations, introducing type-safe custom schemas and Structured Tenant Metadata tied to the Auth0 Organization container, including change management of these schemas.
- Partner with engineering and design teams to translate requirements into APIs and detailed specifications that enable successful implementation.
- Develop roadmaps and business cases that clearly describe product direction, financial strategy, and downstream alignment.
- Adhere to the Product Delivery Lifecycle to evolve a complete product vision while maintaining high standards for security, architecture, and design.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or Team Lead in an engineering setting.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or completion of an Engineering Bootcamp within the same timeframe.
- Experience building or working with multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Strong understanding of Identity and Directory Protocols including OAuth, SAML, and SCIM.
- Proven ability to design APIs and produce detailed specifications to enable engineering execution.
- Hands-on experience using data and analytics tools (SQL/BI tools) to inform decisions.
- Ability to leverage modern AI tools such as Claude Code and Codex to accelerate work while maintaining quality.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Hands-on experience with agile development tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong interpersonal skills for conducting in-depth customer interviews.
- Direct experience building B2B tenancy infrastructure, entitlement engines, configuration schema systems, or B2B SaaS control planes.
- Experience using third-party licensing and entitlement tools.
- Ability to travel within the US or Canada for customer conversations or research.
