Join Walmart as a Principal Product Manager in Bentonville, AR (onsite). What you’ll do

  • Shape and drive product strategy across multiple related products using deep domain expertise and data-driven insights
  • Define and manage comprehensive product roadmaps aligned with business goals and technical feasibility
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to address complex customer problems and prioritize product requirements
  • Build scalable mechanisms for collecting customer feedback and turning insights into actionable problem statements
  • Own product lifecycle execution, including MVP development, launch execution, and long-term optimization
  • Influence enterprise prioritization through strategic narratives and opportunity-sizing models
  • Mentor product managers and promote best practices to elevate product management discipline organization-wide

About the team

The team is focused on transforming transportation capabilities through advanced optimization and visibility solutions. You will collaborate across business, operations, engineering, and data science to develop high-performance algorithms for freight consolidation and dynamic routing, improving capacity and efficiency.

The team also builds a unified platform integrating multi-channel telematics to enable end-to-end visibility, predictive insights, and real-time alerts. A core focus includes work on a horizontal transportation AI tool that contextualizes data, anticipates risks, and recommends and delivers optimal actions in complex logistics environments.

What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience in product strategy development and management across multiple related products or large portfolios
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders with data-driven insights and compelling narratives
  • Expertise in defining and evolving product roadmaps aligned with business priorities and technical feasibility
  • Strong customer and problem understanding using design thinking, journey mapping, and process analysis
  • Proficiency leveraging advanced analytics, AI, and experimentation to support objective product decisions
  • Demonstrated capability to mentor peers and elevate product management practices organization-wide
  • Experience managing product lifecycle from MVP through scalable launch and ongoing optimization

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 9 years’ experience in product management
  • Option: 11 years’ experience in product management or related area

Preferred qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 8 years’ experience as a product manager (ideally on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products)
  • Supervisory experience
  • Background creating inclusive digital experiences, including knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility into product work
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices aligned with Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for an inclusive culture
  • Master’s degrees listed: Business Administration, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
