Job Description
The Principal Product Manager for Capital Lifecycle Excellence at Boston Scientific leads lifecycle strategies for the capital equipment portfolio with emphasis on launch readiness, service strategy, and end-of-life planning. This role serves as the primary commercial interface to CETS, aligning product management, service, and operations to achieve install targets and revenue ramp.
Responsibilities
- Own the capital lifecycle strategy for the Endourology Capital Equipment portfolio, overseeing launch readiness, service delivery, upgrades, transitions, and end-of-life planning.
- Act as the primary commercial contact to CETS operations, ensuring clear alignment among product management, technical service, commercial teams, and operational stakeholders.
- Collaborate with CETS, R&D, operations, packaging, quality, regulatory, and commercial teams to design workflows that enable service efficiency, customer readiness, product performance, and scalable field execution.
- Influence product and packaging design decisions to improve serviceability, installation effectiveness, workflow efficiency, and overall field execution.
- Lead launch readiness for capital equipment, ensuring field service strategy, training, tools, processes, installation requirements, and commercial readiness plans are in place before launch with accountable stakeholders.
- Direct the execution of the capital lifecycle strategy with governance, issue escalation, lifecycle planning, and alignment between commercial priorities and service capabilities.
- Develop and execute end-of-life strategy for capital platforms, including disciplined planning, stakeholder communication, inventory alignment, customer transition, and business continuity.
- Work with CETS to monitor equipment performance, install progress, service trends, and lifecycle metrics to identify risks, drive corrective actions, and support install and revenue ramp objectives.
- Partner with product managers across the Endourology portfolio and CETS to drive consistency, governance, and best-practice sharing across capital lifecycle processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce lifecycle cost, strengthen CETS effectiveness, and enhance the customer experience across the capital portfolio.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in marketing or operational management of medical device capital equipment, service strategy, operations, or lifecycle management.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving product management, service, operations, R&D, quality, regulatory, and commercial teams, while delivering results.
- Strong understanding of capital equipment launch readiness, service workflows, lifecycle planning, and commercial execution.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across complex, matrixed organizations.
- Analytical capability with experience using performance, service, install, or lifecycle metrics to inform decisions and actions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
- Domestic travel up to 25%.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required.

Location and Work Model
Location: Maple Grove, Minnesota with a hybrid work arrangement. Additional locations include US-MN-Maple Grove and US-MN-Arden Hills. The role requires in-office presence at least three days per week.
Compensation
Salary range: USD 131,700 – 250,200 per year.
