Job Description

Oracle is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead clinical AI and medical device product work in the United States (onsite). In this role, you will connect clinical workflow discovery with prototypes, evaluations, and production-ready requirements for reusable Clinical AI Platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Build prototypes and demos using AI coding assistants, low-code/no-code tools, and lightweight configurations to test clinical workflows, communicate concepts, and validate customer value before committing to full development.
  • Partner with technical teams to review prompts, patient context, knowledge grounding, tool calls, and failure modes. Define expected agent behavior, clinician oversight, autonomy levels, and escalation paths.
  • Define representative clinical scenarios, reference datasets, edge cases, and scoring criteria. Collaborate with clinical and engineering stakeholders to evaluate accuracy, clinical appropriateness, safety, task completion, and approaches for handling uncertainty.
  • Lead discovery and define intended use, prioritize roadmaps, and develop clear requirements and success metrics. Work with engineering to deliver, and use customer feedback, evaluations, and production learnings to guide iterative improvements.
  • Identify shared needs across agents and influence platform capabilities for context retrieval, orchestration, tool integration, evaluations, observability, and lifecycle management. Validate platform priorities using prototypes and customer evidence.
  • Coordinate with Regulatory, Quality, and Clinical Safety to determine medical device applicability. For regulated capabilities, own product contributions to requirements traceability, risk management, design controls, verification and validation, release evidence, change control, and post-market monitoring.
  • Work with engineering, design, clinical informatics, data, and go-to-market teams to convert validated concepts into production requirements, support launches, and measure adoption and value.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in user discovery, product strategy, roadmap prioritization, requirements definition, and delivering measurable clinical and business outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of LLMs, prompt design, agent workflows, tool/API integration, and evaluating probabilistic outputs.
  • Ability to use AI development tools, lightweight code, or low-code platforms to create prototypes and demos for learning, customer validation, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Capability to translate care team needs into usable AI experiences, including appropriate patient context, safety boundaries, and clinician oversight.
  • Ability to identify reusable capabilities across products and collaborate with engineering on platform priorities, interfaces, reliability, performance, and cost.
  • Experience delivering product capabilities within a medical device quality system, including risk management, design controls, verification and validation, and controlled product changes.
  • Ability to interpret usage data, execution traces, evaluation scorecards, and production metrics to support product decisions.

Technologies

  • LLMs
  • Prompt design
  • Agent workflows
  • Tool/API integration
  • AI coding assistants
  • Low-code/no-code tools
  • Low-code platforms

About the Role

This is a hands-on Product Manager role focused on clinical workflow discovery and turning ideas into prototypes, demos, and evaluations that validate direction early. You will own the problem space, user outcomes, business value, and product requirements, using tangible artifacts to test assumptions and inform decisions. You will also collaborate with engineering, clinical, quality, and regulatory experts to deliver production solutions and shape reusable Clinical AI Platform capabilities while addressing applicable medical device requirements.
