Job Description

Build category-defining emerging design experiences at the intersection of creativity and AI. This onsite role in San Jose, CA calls for a Principal Product Manager who can shape product strategy and narrative while guiding execution from early discovery through launch and GA. The position offers a U.S. pay range of $148,100 to $282,100 annually (California range: $194,800 to $282,100).

What you’ll own

  • Help define a new product category and sharpen the product thesis.
  • Drive and evolve the product roadmap from early development through launch and GA.
  • Balance product-market fit discovery with execution rigor in fast-moving conditions.
  • Identify the initial target audience and the highest-value use cases.
  • Lead structured discovery and validation with early users and pilot customers.
  • Establish success metrics and evaluation frameworks to measure outcomes.
  • Represent the product narrative to executives and cross-functional collaborators.
  • Collaborate across globally distributed teams.

How you’ll work with others

Partner closely with engineering, research, program management, and marketing to align on direction, validate assumptions, and execute to launch. You’ll combine product judgment with strong influence across functions, particularly in areas that are design-adjacent and creator-facing or involve high-craft tools.

What you bring

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership from early concept or incubation through public launch and growth.
  • Demonstrated success in 0→1 product development.
  • Strong execution rigor in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent product judgment for design-adjacent, creator-facing, or high-craft tools.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and influence.
  • Comfort engaging with technical systems and collaborating deeply with engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred experience

  • Experience building AI-powered products or features.

Non-sales compensation details: Non-sales starting salaries are expressed as base salary, with short-term incentives in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). Certain roles may also be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
