Job Description

HP is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Talent Acquisition Technology, an onsite role in Spring, Texas. This Individual Contributor position defines digital solution strategy, guides roadmap priorities, and leads AI enabled recruiting capabilities across global Talent Acquisition processes. You will operate at the intersection of HR, technology, and product management with global scope and no formal people management.

Annual compensation ranges from USD 116,150 to 205,200. This role is based onsite in Spring, TX, and offers a broad benefits package designed to support you and your family.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy, roadmaps, and ongoing evolution of the enterprise Talent Acquisition technology platforms
  • Translate Talent Acquisition business needs into clear product direction and capability roadmaps
  • Lead AI enabled recruiting capabilities including talent intelligence, matching, and skills inference in alignment with processes and policies
  • Set priorities, sequencing, and scope for delivery teams to ensure aligned execution against roadmaps
  • Make platform decisions with attention to scalability, user experience, data integrity, and global compliance
  • Define product requirements and capability designs, turning business needs into actionable specifications for delivery teams
  • Own user acceptance testing strategy and validation, defining success criteria and guiding test scenarios
  • Lead PoC initiatives and pilots for new capabilities, partnering with delivery teams to validate feasibility, value, and scalability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate pilot outcomes and inform roadmap priorities, balancing innovation with readiness
  • Act as the primary product contact for the Talent Acquisition technology ecosystem across recruiting, core HR, and related platforms
  • Work with architecture, security, and integration partners to align solutions with enterprise standards and approved designs
  • Provide input on integration and data flow decisions to support consistent recruiting data
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership and HR Centers of Excellence to ensure platforms support evolving recruiting operations
  • Influence cross functional stakeholders through data driven insights and clear tradeoffs
  • Participate in vendor roadmap discussions and release planning to align capabilities with HP priorities
  • Serve as a trusted subject matter expert for Talent Acquisition technology within HR and IT communities
  • Use data to assess adoption, performance, and effectiveness, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Contribute to governance, change, and adoption practices to support compliant use of recruiting platforms
  • Champion responsible AI and automation within policy and governance frameworks
  • Maintain deep expertise in Talent Acquisition technology, AI trends, and recruiting best practices
  • Share knowledge and lessons learned to support capability development across the HR technology community
  • Stay current on industry trends to inform product enhancements and improvement efforts

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in HR technology, HRIS, or SaaS product management roles
  • Proven success leading complex Talent Acquisition technology initiatives in global enterprise environments
  • Deep expertise with recruiting platforms such as Eightfold, Workday Recruiting, or comparable ATS/CRM solutions
  • Familiarity with AI and ML concepts in recruiting, including skills inference and matching
  • Strong understanding of end to end recruiting processes and how technology enables them
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, manage competing priorities, and drive alignment
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform product decisions
