Product Manager - Project Hire

Disney Experiences has an estimated 30-month project hire opportunity for a Product Manager focused on strategic workforce and operational technology initiatives. This onsite role in Celebration, FL supports discovery, requirements, and delivery, while maintaining prioritized backlogs for existing Crew Technology platforms. The salary range for this position is USD 113,500 to 152,200 per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, process reviews, and requirements sessions to define business needs, user outcomes, and success measures.
• Translate research and stakeholder input into product scope, requirements, recommendations, and solution options.
• Support vendor evaluations, RFP activities, and solution selection when needed.
• Own and prioritize backlogs for assigned projects, platform enhancements, and sustainment work.
• Create clear user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, assumptions, and functional requirements.
• Lead refinement with Engineering and Business Analysis partners to keep alignment across the Crew Technology ecosystem.
• Drive initiatives from discovery through launch and stabilization.
• Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Quality Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, and Business activities.
• Manage scope, risks, dependencies, decisions, testing, release readiness, cutover, and hyper-care within assigned authority.
• Maintain effective working relationships across business, operations, technology, and vendor teams.
• Communicate priorities, status, risks, tradeoffs, and business impacts clearly to stakeholders.
• Support adoption and change activities through training readiness and release communications.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve user experience, increase automation, and strengthen platform scalability.
• Contribute to product strategy and roadmap planning within assigned scope.
• Use data and AI-enabled tools, where appropriate, to improve product decisions and delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Technology Consulting, Project Delivery, or a related field.
• Experience delivering technology solutions in cross-functional, matrixed environments.
• Strong discovery and requirements capabilities, including user story creation, acceptance criteria development, and backlog management.
• Experience facilitating discussions across business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with Agile software development teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with workforce management, labor, HR, scheduling, compliance, payroll, travel, or DCL operational systems.
• Experience with RFPs, vendor evaluations, solution selection, or business case development.
• Experience balancing project delivery with product enhancement and sustainment backlogs.
• Experience supporting complex systems, integrations, or distributed operational users.
