Principal Technical Product Manager, Commercial Applications
Job Description
Graco, headquartered in Minneapolis and operating onsite, is seeking a Principal Technical Product Manager for Commercial Applications to lead the roadmap, implementation, and ongoing operations of technology solutions that support the company’s commercial platforms. This role partners with IT and business leadership to drive modernization, efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration across Websites, Ecommerce, and Digital Experience platforms, with a compensation range of USD 111,100 - 194,400 per year.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the enterprise application platforms roadmap, concentrating on optimizing business processes, automating workflows, and promoting enterprise solutions to boost operational efficiency.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of enterprise business applications aligned with business goals and the broader IT strategy.
- Manage product backlogs, process flows, functional designs, test plans, and related deliverables to support successful solution delivery.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, cultivating trust and collaboration between IT and business leadership.
- Serve as the liaison between the IT team and the business function, acting as a technology thought leader and advisor to identify and prioritize solutions that enable strategic goals.
- Collaborate with IT and cross-functional business partners to gather requirements, translate them into technology needs, prioritize features, and ensure delivery of product enhancements.
- Provide subject matter expertise for enterprise CRM and ERP systems, supply chain and manufacturing applications, and digital experience platforms and Ecommerce, with deep knowledge of related business workflows across Websites, Ecommerce (B2B and B2C), Commercial, and Digital channels.
- Lead modernization and re-platforming efforts to the cloud, directing integration work and ensuring smooth transitions between cloud and on-premises environments.
- Analyze processes to identify technology-enabled improvements that support simplification, globalization, unification, and harmonization across functions and regions.
- Develop and deliver training to drive adoption and understanding of core business application platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of IT experience with strong domain expertise in implementing enterprise Websites, Ecommerce, Commercial, and Digital Experience applications.
- 2+ years of experience with headless commerce platforms, content management systems, and other digital experience platforms.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage moderately complex, large-scale technology projects with global teams and system integrators.
- Expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies and product management best practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20 percent (domestic and international).
