Job Description

Responsibilities
- Craft and maintain a product roadmap aligned with business goals and strategy, delivering key milestones and achieving defined KPIs.
- Articulate the product vision, roadmap, and progress to stakeholders across Macy’s.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to elevate customer experiences through cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and deep user insight.
- Create product and user experiences through clear, timely artifacts, including requirements and user stories.
- Partner with design, engineering, analytics, and fellow PMs to design, build, and launch features that boost growth and engagement.
- Maintain a prioritized backlog of well-groomed, insight-driven user stories.
- Collaborate with engineering scrum teams and technical leads to refine requirements for simple, intuitive experiences.
- Define success metrics, ramp plans, and measurement criteria.
- Design and run experiments to test hypotheses and identify solutions that improve conversion, engagement, and loyalty.
- Foster an inclusive, respectful environment that strengthens relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities.

Requirements
- Product strategy and roadmap ownership: ability to define and execute roadmaps that align with goals, strategy, and KPIs, delivering measurable customer and commercial impact.
- Customer-centric product thinking: deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors, translating insights into intuitive e-commerce experiences that boost engagement and satisfaction.
- Analytical thinking and data-driven decision making: strong analytics, defining success metrics, running experiments, interpreting data, and applying insights to optimize conversion, engagement, and retention.
- Cross-functional leadership and collaboration: proven ability to influence and partner with design, engineering, analytics, and business teams across the product lifecycle.
- Agile execution excellence: experience managing backlogs, grooming user stories, collaborating with scrum teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Business acumen and e-commerce expertise: solid understanding of retail and e-commerce economics and strategies, balancing customer value with commercial outcomes.
- Technical and product development fluency: working knowledge of technical concepts, agile methodologies, and modern product practices to effectively partner with engineering.
- Innovation and emerging technology awareness: ability to stay ahead of new technologies and apply them to scalable digital experiences.
- Communication and stakeholder influence: strong written and verbal skills to clearly articulate vision, progress, and trade-offs to partners and senior leaders.

Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field; prior experience in product strategy, product management, design, engineering, site merchandising, or management consulting, preferably in retail or ecommerce.
- Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel; occasional movement; requires close vision.
