Product Manager/Business Development Manager
Job Description
ASI Corp is seeking a Product Manager and Business Development Manager to join onsite in Fremont, CA. This IT hardware distribution role involves shaping product strategy, building new business channels, and expanding market presence. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in computer hardware distribution, with a compensation range of USD 85,000 to 95,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the profitability and financial results, including the P&L, for designated product lines.
- Cultivate and sustain vendor relationships across multiple organizational levels.
- Design and implement integrated marketing plans, programs, and promotions.
- Provide proactive sales support and collaborate with the sales teams to uncover and develop new opportunities.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitive movements, and industry data to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Produce reports, presentations, and analyses for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Support the creation of business plans and strategic initiatives under broad supervision.
- Develop pricing strategies optimized for major accounts and prevailing market conditions.
- Forecast demand, coordinate inventory planning with vendors, and manage stock levels to achieve targets.
- Maintain deep knowledge of relevant markets, product categories, and industry trends for the assigned lines.
- Coordinate and lead vendor trainings, business reviews, and sessions with the internal sales organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required, ideally in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in sales, business development, product management, or a related role within a distribution channel or manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to create and execute strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales and business objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, including over the phone.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a dynamic and evolving business landscape.
