Job Description

This Product Manager role focuses on CAMA and Tax solutions, responsible for shaping the product strategy and lifecycle from ideation through delivery, and collaborating with stakeholders to address evolving customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Product Owner for the CAMA product, prioritizing the backlog, defining requirements and acceptance criteria, breaking down user stories, and validating delivery through acceptance testing.
  • Partner with Product Leadership and key stakeholders to create and execute a cohesive software delivery roadmap, balancing current customer needs with opportunities to expand into new markets and revenue streams.
  • Help drive a multi-year product roadmap aimed at maximizing customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Engage with customers through surveys, interviews, advisory boards, and user groups to understand challenges and evolving needs within the CAMA and Tax sectors, informing the backlog accordingly.
  • Conduct ongoing market research, competitive analysis, and trend identification to inform build versus partner decisions.
  • Act as an ambassador for Vision, managing client expectations before and after delivery.
  • Utilize customer and market insights to support backlog prioritization and sprint planning.
  • Assist in developing and coordinating both internal and customer-facing communications regarding product initiatives.
  • Participate as needed in internal sales RFP responses from a Product and Engineering perspective.
  • Assist in evaluating new market requirements and product positioning.
  • Produce illustrative documents or presentations to communicate deliverables and timelines across the organization or to stakeholders, including design documents, roadmaps, and executive or marketing materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within software development or the property assessment industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven knowledge of project management practices to coordinate cross-functional efforts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with executive-level stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
  • A strong customer-delivery mindset, evidenced by close collaboration with team members to meet client needs.
