Job Description

Oula Health is building and evolving the technology that powers care delivery, and it needs a technically-minded Product Manager to own the core product systems behind day-to-day operations. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, operations, and external health system partners, with a focus on EHR configuration, integrations, and reliable rollouts across markets.

Working in a hybrid setup based in New York, NY, you will manage Oula’s core technology stack, lead Athena and Epic configuration end to end, and serve as the internal and external subject matter expert for EMR integration workstreams. You’ll also partner with IT on the infrastructure boundaries, owning the clinical systems layer and the processes that make new feature launches consistent.

What you’ll do

  • Own day-to-day management of the core tech stack, including the EHR, patient portal, and care management platform
  • Run Athena and Epic configuration end to end, covering clinical templates, order sets, lab configurations, payer connectivity, and access management for clinical and operations staff
  • Lead EHR integration efforts as the subject matter expert for FHIR/HL7 data exchange, coordinating with health system IT stakeholders to meet committed go-live timelines
  • Own and accelerate Epic integration timelines as additional health system partners are onboarded
  • Maintain configuration integrity as new markets launch and care model workflows evolve
  • Collaborate with the IT team on infrastructure while owning the clinical systems layer they do not touch
  • Own bug intake and prioritization from Market Operations, standardizing how Engineering receives, scopes, and resolves issues, and how status is communicated back to the field
  • Build structured launch toolkits and training materials so clinic teams are prepared for new feature rollouts on day one
  • Coordinate end-to-end launches across Product, Engineering, and Operations
  • Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to reduce manual administrative burden in product operations workflows
  • Build and maintain a clinical systems SOP library so new market setup is repeatable and documented enough for execution without being dependent on a single person
  • Develop onboarding materials for clinic managers and clinical staff on EHR workflows and tooling
  • Drive feature parity so patients and clinicians experience a consistent standard of care across markets
  • Build and maintain dashboards to track feature adoption, issue resolution, and rollout health across clinics
  • Develop quarterly reporting for Product, leadership, and health system partners on platform performance
  • Ensure the right data infrastructure is in place to measure the impact of every feature rollout

What you bring

  • 3+ years in product operations, technical program management, or PM-adjacent work, ideally at a growth-stage digital health or services company
  • Strong problem-solving instincts and curiosity, with an interest in figuring out how systems work and improving them
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action, including building the playbook rather than only executing someone else’s plan
  • Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive aggressive timelines, ideally with client-facing or health system-facing experience
  • Ability to move between technical and non-technical audiences, including hands-on comfort with EHR configuration and integration work; strong experience writing bug tickets, SOPs, and launch plans that teams actually follow is expected
  • Analytical ability to build dashboards and identify patterns, even without being a SQL specialist

Technologies

  • Athena
  • Epic
  • FHIR
  • HL7

Compensation & details

  • Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 per year, depending on experience and location
  • Equity: Options commensurate with level
  • Location: New York, NY (hybrid)

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision
  • 401(k)
  • Generous PTO

How success is measured

  • First 90 days: Audit current Athena configuration, identify gaps, and deliver a remediation plan; improve the bug triage process; meet counterparts at every health system partner and understand upcoming Epic integration work
  • At six months: Enable new market launches with a repeatable systems and product checklist; ensure clinic teams know what to expect before features go live; measurably improve bug resolution time so issues do not stall in a back-and-forth loop
  • At one year: Deliver a comprehensive SOP library, stabilize clinical systems configuration, and successfully navigate at least one new health system EHR environment; provide reliable systems partnership for Product and reduce dependency for the ops team on any single person’s knowledge
