Product Manager Full-Time
Job Description
Oula is building patient care experiences powered by a reliable, evolving technology stack. This role brings together product, operations, and health system integration expertise to help ensure the EHR, patient portal, and care management platform can scale with new markets and partners.
Location: Chicago, IL (hybrid). Compensation: USD 110,000 - 140,000 per year, depending on experience and location. Oula also has location preference for New York/New Jersey/Connecticut, Chicago, or Charlotte, with remote-flexibility and periodic travel to clinic locations and health system partners.
What you’ll own
- Day-to-day management of the core tech stack including the EHR, patient portal, and care management platform.
- End-to-end ownership of Athena and Epic configuration, covering clinical templates, order sets, lab configurations, payer connectivity, and access management for clinical and operations staff.
- Lead EHR integration efforts as the internal and external subject matter expert, including FHIR/HL7 data exchange and coordination with health system IT teams to meet committed go-live timelines.
- Own and accelerate Epic integration timelines as Oula onboard additional health system partners.
- Maintain configuration integrity as new markets launch and care model workflows evolve.
- Partner with IT on infrastructure, owning the clinical systems layer they do not directly touch.
- Manage bug intake and prioritization from Market Operations: standardize how Engineering receives issues, scopes work, resolves problems, and communicates status back to the field.
- Coordinate end-to-end launches across Product, Engineering, and Operations.
- Build structured launch toolkits and training materials so clinic teams are prepared for new feature rollouts on day one.
- Identify opportunities where AI and automation can reduce manual administrative burden in product operations workflows.
- Build and maintain the clinical systems SOP library so new market setup is repeatable, documented well enough for new hires to execute without depending on any single person.
- Develop onboarding materials for clinic managers and clinical staff on EHR workflows and tooling.
- Drive feature parity so patients and clinicians experience a consistent standard of care across markets.
- Build and maintain dashboards tracking feature adoption, issue resolution, and rollout health across clinics.
- Develop quarterly reporting for Product, leadership, and health system partners on platform performance, and ensure data infrastructure exists to measure the impact of each rollout.
What Oula needs from you
- 3+ years with product operations, technical program management, or PM-adjacent work, ideally at a growth-stage digital health or services company.
- Strong problem-solving instincts and curiosity about how systems work and how to make them better.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action, including building the playbook in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments and driving aggressive timelines, ideally with client-facing or health system-facing work.
- Ability to go deep technically while communicating clearly to non-technical audiences, including hands-on EHR configuration and integration experience strongly preferred.
- Analytical capability to build dashboards and identify patterns, even without being a SQL expert.

How success is measured
- First 90 days: audit the current Athena configuration, identify gaps, create a remediation plan, and improve the bug triage process.
- Six months: establish repeatable systems and product checklists for new market launches, ensure clinic teams know what to expect before feature go-live, and measurably speed up bug resolution.

- Ongoing: build reliable partnerships across product and ensure the ops team is not dependent on any single person for systems knowledge.
