Job Description

McGough Construction seeks an Industrial Systems Product Manager to own McGough’s Industrial Construction digital ecosystem, guiding platforms including InEight, AspenTech, UDiTH, Thermoflow, and PlantStream to enhance estimating, design, and project execution, while leading enablement across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the roadmap for the Industrial technology ecosystem, spanning estimating, engineering, design, and execution platforms.
  • Align platform investments with measurable business outcomes such as estimating accuracy, design efficiency, and project predictability.
  • Collaborate with Industrial leadership, IT, and business stakeholders to define product goals, deliverables, and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure programs remain aligned with the enterprise digital strategy and governance standards.
  • Monitor platform performance using defined metrics including adoption, usage, data quality, and user satisfaction.
  • Define platform KPIs tied to workforce outcomes, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee third-party vendors and service providers to ensure accountability to scope and statements of work.
  • Partner with Industrial leaders and business stakeholders during rollouts to incorporate requirements, usage expectations, and training needs.
  • Design and deploy training programs, office hours, and self-service learning paths for employees, managers, and Industrial partners.
  • Anticipate and manage risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs across complex technical initiatives.
  • Contribute to deployment readiness, including user preparedness and timing of training.
  • Act as a business escalation point and decision-maker for deployment tradeoffs.
  • Monitor progress, risks, and changes through deployment phases and report updates to leadership.
  • Balance platform optimization with domain-level tradeoffs.
  • Define KPIs across adoption, data quality, model accuracy, and business impact.
  • Collaborate with Digital Operations Leadership to align with McGough’s project governance model.
  • Drive continuous improvement in deployment and enhancement processes to increase velocity, quality, and stability.
  • Work with vendors and delivery partners to ensure solutions meet Industrial needs and enablement goals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in digital product management, engineering systems, or enterprise application strategy.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in defining and delivering digital tools aligned with business and workforce needs.
  • Track record of building and managing a business-focused roadmap for enterprise platforms and related technologies.
  • Experience partnering with IT and Deployment Program Managers to define scope, success metrics, and delivery milestones.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational influence skills.

Office and Travel

The position is based at McGough’s headquarters in Roseville, Minnesota. Travel is expected up to 20 percent for training or team-building activities, with additional travel to national office locations as determined by the individual and their manager.
