Product Operations
Job Description
Tailwind is seeking a Product Operations professional in San Francisco, CA (onsite) to own real product surface areas from day one, close to users, and translate frontline context into scalable product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Develop close user insight by mapping workflows, identifying friction, and enabling customer success
- Transform repetitive work into scalable documentation, tooling, and product capabilities
- Convert customer feedback and usage patterns into clear, actionable product specs
- Accelerate adoption of new features by clarifying value and improving user understanding
- Act as a force multiplier by delivering durable solutions that remain effective over time
Requirements
- 2 to 4 plus years in a fast paced, analytical role such as consulting, business ops, or an early stage startup
- Product minded: curious, systems oriented, with a constant drive to improve how things work
- Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by solving unknowns iteratively
- Strong user empathy and a genuine drive to make customer experiences faster, easier, and better
- Experience collaborating with cross functional partners, including product and engineering teams
- Interest in AI and its impact on modern workflows; hands-on experience is a plus but not required

About the Role
- This is a high ownership product role where you work directly with founders and own real product surface area from day one
- You will dive deep with users to spot patterns, fix broken experiences, and turn scrappy workflows into scalable systems, serving as the bridge between customers, product, and engineering
- We seek a smart, curious, product minded individual who wants to join early, learn quickly, and shape Tailwind from the inside out
What You'll Do
- Get close to our users to understand their workflows, uncover friction, and help them succeed
- Turn repeated work into documentation, tooling, and scalable product enhancements
- Synthesize feedback and usage data into concrete product specifications
- Drive adoption of new features by clarifying their value and improving usability
- Operate as a force multiplier, delivering durable solutions that withstand future challenges
