Product Operations Analyst
Job Description
Remote-first role where data informs product strategy and business decisions. In this position you will influence product performance, collaborate across Product Management, User Experience, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Customer Success, and report to the Manager of Product Operations. The role offers a salary range of USD 65,100 to 94,600 per year and requires a Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of product analytics experience.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Analysis & Planning Support: contribute data-driven insights to shape long-term product goals and support quarterly and annual planning cycles.
- Product Performance Analysis: write and run queries to assess product usage, feature adoption, customer behavior, and performance trends; perform cohort, funnel, and segmentation analyses to surface opportunities and risks.
- Metrics & Reporting: define, track, and report KPIs that measure customer experience, product effectiveness, growth, and operational health; develop dashboards for visibility into performance.
- Experimentation & Measurement: design, measure, and interpret A/B and multivariate tests to evaluate changes and validate strategic hypotheses with analytical rigor.
- Operational Monitoring: identify and monitor issues affecting adoption, retention, profitability, and productivity; surface insights and recommend corrective actions.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: partner with Product Management, User Experience, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Customer Success to align analytics with business objectives.
- Data Storytelling: translate complex datasets into clear reports and presentations for product leadership and executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2-4+ years of experience in product analytics.
- Experience supporting Product Management or Product Operations teams in a SaaS, technology, or platform-based organization.
- Strong proficiency in querying large datasets.
- Experience with BI and product analytics tools such as Power BI, Snowflake, Looker, Tableau, Gainsight PX or similar platforms.
- Experience designing and interpreting A/B or multivariate experiments.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable business insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Experience
