Job Description

At Lululemon’s Bethesda, MD store, the Product Operations Lead combines store leadership with hands-on product execution to drive the store’s product strategy through precise operations and inventory management. This onsite role guides inventory shifts, oversees back-of-house processes, contributes to hiring and performance feedback, and serves as Supervisor on Duty to deliver a world-class guest experience, with a pay range of USD 24 - 29 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Work with store leadership to translate the product strategy into daily operations.
  • Proactively plan and lead inventory processes, ensuring accuracy in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee product actions such as pullbacks, consolidations, and price updates.
  • Foster a fun and productive atmosphere to engage the team during inventory management shifts.
  • Monitor stock levels and share insights to support sell-through strategies and guest-ready product availability.
  • Analyze daily business data, including sell-through metrics, to advise leadership on product focus and pricing where applicable.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training processes, including recruitment decisions and recommendations.
  • Provide performance feedback and development support through coaching and hands-on guidance.
  • Promote an inclusive, respectful team environment with strong working relationships.
  • As Supervisor on Duty, lead from the floor during open hours to deliver product education and a superior guest experience.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.

Work Context

  • Involves moving through the store, sometimes in front-of-house with bright lights and loud music, and sometimes in back-of-house spaces without natural light.
  • Team-based and intermittent independent work, often using computers or technical devices.
  • Occasional lifting of boxes up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) and using ladders to access materials.
  • For experiential stores with food/beverage service: may involve using industrial kitchen equipment and exposure to heat when preparing items.

Schedule/Availability

  • Schedule can vary based on store needs.
  • Shifts typically include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • During peak times or special events, early mornings or late nights/overnights may be required for some team members.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience.
  • Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics, including using business technology.
  • Some experience in leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others.

Job Assets

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, or higher.
  • Experience in retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations; reviewing and interpreting business reports and metrics to inform action.
  • For experiential stores with food/beverage service: food safety and/or liquor service certification is a plus.
