Job Description

Own merchandising that shapes what users see and what they trade. You will lead merchandising for Crypto.com’s prediction markets across the homepage and discovery modules on web and mobile, including featured market placement. The role is built for speed and precision: you will run live merchandising during major moments, connect the calendar to the product, and improve discovery performance through experimentation and data. This position is based in San Francisco, CA (hybrid) with a salary range of USD 60,000 - 130,000 per year.

What you’ll do

  • Own the merchandised surface end-to-end, leading decisions on homepage and discovery modules and featured market placement across OG web and mobile. You determine what appears in the hero, what rotates, and what earns placement.
  • Translate merchandising craft to prediction markets, turning patterns like hero carousels, quick-pick modules, thematic tiles, and high-intent packaging into prediction-market structures such as multi-contract packages, correlated event bundles, and narrative-driven hubs.
  • Build packaged, high-intent discovery by creating and rotating packages tied to real narratives, with packaging designed for liquidity and resolution clarity so trades are easy to understand and act on.
  • Propose and decide what ships to each module in partnership with Trading and Market Ops.
  • Run live merchandising in real time, swapping surfaces during major events including games, elections, breaking news, and viral moments.
  • Coordinate when odds and liquidity shift with Market Liquidity & Operations, staying effective during nights, weekends, and holidays while maintaining a fast but careful public presentation.
  • Connect the calendar to the product by owning calendar coverage across sports, politics, culture, and market-moving news so homepage experiences stay aligned with what’s launching.
  • Flag coverage gaps early back to Market Ops before a story peaks.
  • Drive performance through experiments, prioritizing, QA, and reading merchandising A/B tests with Product and Analytics using metrics like CTR, conversion, trading volume, and DAU / return-visit lift.
  • Instrument your own funnel rather than relying on others for analysis.
  • Track the competitive set, propose responses based on competitor movement, and work with engineers to ship improvements.
  • Handoff cleanly by consuming new listings as they go live and feeding unmet demand and broken-resolution UX signals back. You own customer-facing interface presentation, while Market Ops handles listing and settlement processes.

What you bring

  • Evidence of merchandising you’ve owned, with a record of improving engagement, conversion, or volume, plus the ability to adapt quickly when priorities or dependencies change.
  • Comfort operating under event-time pressure with live/calendar ops, swapping and re-featuring quickly to keep the surface current as moments unfold (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
  • Data-informed decision-making, including defining success criteria and tracking results with SQL, dashboards, or partnering with an analyst. You can communicate rationale clearly and interpret what data shows against CTR, conversion, and volume/DAU impact.
  • Experiment literacy, with the ability to design, run, and read A/B tests for merchandising or discovery, distinguishing valid signal from noise.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Market Liquidity & Operations, and Marketing, aligning on clear decisions and smooth launch coordination.
  • Domain fluency or fast learning speed across both odds/parlays/hold-on-one-side language and order books, contract pricing, and liquidity depth.

Preferred

  • Sportsbook / iGaming merchandising, including experience building and rotating homepage modules, parlay/SGP-style packages, and live in-game surfacing, with a sense for urgency and excitement.
  • Prediction-market / exchange merchandising, including experience merchandised event contracts or order-book products, factoring liquidity and resolution clarity into packaging and presentation.
  • SQL and experimentation tooling experience to read your own data and move quickly between tests.
  • Depth in sports, politics, or culture to identify which moments deserve prime placement.
  • Regulatory awareness, including familiarity with CFTC-regulated exchanges and incorporating compliance into product experiences.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Attractive annual leave entitlement including birthday and work anniversary
  • 401(k) plan with employer match
  • Eligibility for company-sponsored group health, dental, vision, and life/disability insurance
  • Work Flexibility: Flexi-work hour and hybrid set-up
  • Internal mobility through an internal mobility program
  • Crypto.com benefits packages vary by region; learn more via talent acquisition
