Job Description

Onsite in Newark, DE, this Vice President level Product Owner leads the Business Architecture team's credit product work, aligning roadmaps with stakeholder needs and delivering cross-team initiatives and monthly releases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of product owners accountable for platform modernization and the expansion of data products.
  • Maintain the backlog in JIRA, perform grooming, and execute test cycles.
  • Identify, resolve issues and escalate critical risks to ensure steady progress.
  • Influence and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders across business, operations, and technology.
  • Ensure compliance with product and Release Management standards and the operating model.
  • Lead end-to-end project strategy discussions and develop plans for firmwide and LOB change events affecting Finance, Credit, and Treasury reporting.
  • Spot opportunities for business process re-engineering and create documentation and guidance for end users of Finance and Risk platforms.
  • Oversee release planning, including scope, milestones, sourcing needs, test strategy and execution, implementation checklists, and cross-functional activities with stakeholders and technology teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 6 years in project management, business analysis, and process re-engineering.
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience.
  • Proven track record delivering large, complex programs and managing senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate new business and technical knowledge.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams concurrently.
  • Detail oriented, highly accountable, and able to operate under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the capacity to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to lead, influence, and build productive partnerships with partner teams.
