Senior Manager, Product Operations, Sales Experience
Job Description
This senior management role directs product operations for Visa's internal sales experience tools, guiding strategy, backlog governance, release readiness, and data-driven decisions to enhance seller productivity. Located in Austin, Texas with a hybrid work arrangement, the position offers an annual salary range of USD 134,800 to 216,100. The role collaborates with Product, Sales, Sales Readiness, Sales Enablement, Technology, and Operations to ensure tools are intuitive, well governed, and aligned to business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Execute product discovery to establish and validate the value proposition through qualitative and quantitative data, translating findings into clear narratives.
- Build mathematical models and value frameworks, applying data-driven logic within the Value Calculator to help sellers quantify customer impact and articulate ROI in pitches and conversations.
- Collaborate with the Sales Tools Product Owner and cross-functional leads to shape and refine the operational strategy for Visa's internal sales experience products.
- Establish structured operating cadences for planning, prioritization, backlog grooming, delivery, and release management.
- Partner with Sales, Sales Enablement, Technology, and Operations to capture and clarify requirements, understand user needs, and translate them into actionable workflows.
- Act as a central coordinating hub to align efforts, minimize friction, and streamline communication across teams supporting the sales experience ecosystem.
- Maintain a clear and transparent backlog with well-defined requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that are prioritized and tied to business impact.
- Support sprint planning and Agile ceremonies to ensure the most valuable work is delivered.
- Oversee operational readiness for new feature releases across sales tools, ensuring documentation, enablement materials, and communication plans are complete.
- Collaborate with the go-to-market lead to drive adoption, collect feedback, and assess post-launch impact.
- Define, monitor, and report KPIs that measure tool usage, seller experience quality, operational efficiency, and overall impact on selling productivity.
- Develop dashboards and reports that surface actionable insights for stakeholders and leadership.
- Create structured user feedback loops with GTM and product leads to identify pain points, opportunities, and unmet needs.
- Convert insights into recommendations that shape the product roadmap and future enhancements.
- Ensure backlog and requirements are accurately entered into Jira and committed for release.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual steps, and improve team operations through better systems design.
- Promote Agile and Lean practices across product and engineering teams supporting sales tools.
- Foster continuous improvement in team processes, handoffs, alignment mechanisms, and delivery predictability.
