Senior Product Manager

GM Financial is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive product innovation and continuous improvement. In this hybrid role based in Irving, TX, you will lead execution of product backlogs and portfolio roadmaps, and own delivery of assigned product strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and champion the organization’s vision, strategic priorities, and goals, translating them into a roadmap of features and enhancements focused on customer experience.
• Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders and influencers that support definition and ongoing strategies, using stewardship, influence, motivation, and change leadership.
• Drive high-level prioritization of initiatives, coordinating experiences across channels and touchpoints to support strong business outcomes.
• Lead and develop direct and/or indirect team members responsible for implementing the product roadmap.
• Continuously monitor competitors and industry developments to inform product decisions.
• Identify and analyze problems and opportunities by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative information.
• Define decision criteria, generate and evaluate alternatives, and make timely decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience and knowledge of product management, software product lifecycle, road mapping, and SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
• Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating with business stakeholders, user experience teams, project managers, and developers.
• Track record of delivering projects and completing strategic initiatives on time and within budget.
• Extensive knowledge of market research methods, including drivers and trends that impact the business.
• Ability to work with teams on performance measurements to identify key insights and improve outcomes.
• Serve as a liaison by connecting business issues to internal and external ITS partners, and translating technology solutions for business customers.
• Capability to build consensus using active listening, with a collaborative approach that promotes teamwork, excellence, and integrity.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
• 6-8 years of experience as a Product Owner/Manager on an Agile Scrum team required.
• 2-4 years of leadership experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or additional equivalent experience required.
• Agile Certifications required.
