Job Description

ProDriven Global Brands is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead Work Vehicle Solutions from category strategy through portfolio execution. This hybrid role in Charlotte, NC combines customer problem solving with commercialization, lifecycle management, and financial performance ownership across complex, cross-functional initiatives.

What you’ll do

  • Understand end users, customers, channels, applications, and competitive alternatives to uncover unmet needs, pain points, and adoption barriers.
  • Convert customer insight and business strategy into a prioritized portfolio roadmap, recommending trade-offs across customer value, growth, profitability, resources, risk, and time to impact.
  • Drive initiatives from opportunity definition and customer validation through business case development, execution, launch, stabilization, and post-launch review.
  • Define scope, requirements, milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, and success measures; maintain portfolio visibility and push timely decisions and issue resolution.
  • Own strategy, roadmap, positioning, performance, and lifecycle for assigned products and categories, including new products, derivatives, fitment, customer opportunities, sourcing changes, and sustaining work.
  • Translate customer needs into product and application requirements; monitor quality, availability, inventory, warranty, service, and feedback to support corrective actions and accurate technical content.
  • Define target customer, problem, use case, value proposition, differentiation, claims, pricing inputs, and commercial requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional launch readiness, track adoption and customer experience, and address performance gaps with corrective action.
  • Own revenue, margin, profitability, pricing, portfolio mix, forecast assumptions, and growth plans for assigned categories.
  • Build business cases and improve results using levers across pricing, cost, assortment, sourcing, channel, inventory, quality, and product rationalization.
  • Align teams around the customer problem, business outcome, priorities, decision rights, responsibilities, milestones, and success measures.
  • Lead fact-based decisions by surfacing resource and execution risks early and building shared accountability while respecting functional ownership.
  • Maintain end-to-end accountability for business direction, requirements, prioritization, cross-functional alignment, and commercial outcomes for assigned initiatives, while functional partners remain accountable for execution within their areas of expertise (engineering design, validation, quality approval, manufacturing execution, sourcing, marketing production, sales execution, and customer service operations).

What you bring

  • MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in product management, portfolio management, commercialization, business leadership, product development, or a related field within durable goods.
  • Proven ability leading complex cross-functional teams and executing without direct authority.
  • Experience managing portfolios of simultaneous initiatives with competing resources and priorities.
  • Track record taking products or business initiatives from customer need and business case through development, launch, and post-launch optimization.
  • Experience developing financial models, business cases, pricing recommendations, forecasts, and portfolio plans.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Quality.
  • Automotive, commercial vehicle, upfitting, durable goods, or other technically complex product-category experience preferred.
  • Strong skills in strategic portfolio prioritization and resource trade-off management, plus program and project leadership across complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to develop product requirements and translate technical-commercial needs effectively.
  • Capability in business case development, financial modeling, pricing, and performance analysis.
  • Experience driving commercialization, launch readiness, and market adoption.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of customers, applications, channels, and competitive markets, with discipline in risk identification, issue resolution, escalation, and decision-making.
  • High learning agility, sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and the ability to create structure in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
  • Proficiency with common business analysis, presentation, roadmap, and project-management tools.
