Job Description

Pebl is hiring a Senior Product Manager for a hybrid role in Palo Alto, CA. This position is an individual contributor opportunity to shape product strategy and execution for the post-onboarding employee and employer experience, with a focus on lifecycle management. You will partner across design, engineering, and go-to-market and present roadmap plans and results to leadership.

What you will own

  • Own Lifecycle Management strategy, roadmap, and execution for the post-onboarding employee and employer experience, starting with Time (time off, leave of absence, and time tracking), aligned with the product strategy set by Product leadership.
  • Translate customer needs, market insight, and business goals into clear, prioritized product requirements for time off, leave of absence, and timesheets across dozens of country-specific rules.
  • Define use cases for AI agents to automate and streamline day-to-day EOR employee workflows, including balance questions, leave requests, and timesheet checks.
  • Partner with engineering leads on architecture trade-offs, API design, and technical feasibility, including accrual logic, policy configuration, tenure inheritance, and handoffs from leave of absence and timesheets to payroll.

How you will measure and improve impact

  • Work hands-on with data by writing SQL queries, analyzing usage and support patterns, and instrumenting features to measure impact on employees, managers, and operations.
  • Define and track success metrics, run experiments, and iterate based on results.

Collaboration and leadership updates

You will communicate roadmap priorities, trade-offs, and progress clearly to stakeholders and leadership across engineering, design, operations, and onboarding.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience.
  • A track record of owning a product area from discovery to shipped, adopted features.
  • Hands-on experience testing product before release, plus experience editing FAQs and documentation.
  • Strong data comfort: you write your own SQL, can work through complex sizing problems, and can explain what moved and by how much after shipping.
  • Experience using AI tools effectively, with judgment to check and improve outputs.
  • Curiosity about complex, rule-heavy systems that vary by jurisdiction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with comfort presenting to leadership and collaborating with engineers, designers, and operations.
  • Startup or fast-paced environment experience. HR tech, FinTech, payroll, or global workforce experience is a plus.
  • Experience taking a product from 0-1 is preferred.

Compensation and benefits

Salary: USD 174,664 - 218,330 per year.

  • Flexible Time Off – Take the time you need to recharge.
  • Parental Leave – Support for growing families.
  • Health and Dental Insurance – Where applicable, to cover you and your loved ones.
  • Retirement Savings + Employee Incentive Plan – Plan for the future while sharing in the company’s success.
