Senior Product Manager, Builder - Tech, Ring

Ring is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Builder who can shape new, AI-native hardware devices and the integrated customer experiences around them. This onsite role in Sunnyvale combines technical product management with hands-on prototyping to take product concepts from validation to launch across app, cloud, and device firmware.

What you’ll do

• Explore and validate new product concepts using rapid prototyping with AI-coding tools such as Cursor, alongside automated analysis of internal data, marketplace signals, and competitive research.
• Define hardware product requirements and the corresponding in-app device experiences, partnering closely with hardware engineering, industrial design, software engineering, and manufacturing teams.
• Lead engineering delivery for new features across app, cloud, and device firmware, using GenAI tools to accelerate development timelines.
• Own prioritization and trade-offs across customer experience, cost, performance, profitability, and operational support load, resolving both strategic and tactical blockers as they come up.
• Find ways to streamline repetitive cross-functional workflows by applying AI and agentic tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Experience owning feature delivery and making trade-offs across a product
• Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with end-to-end product delivery
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions and product strategy
• Experience with consumer devices spanning hardware, firmware, mobile, and cloud
• Experience with hardware product definition, including collaboration with industrial design, hardware engineering, or manufacturing teams
• Experience defining and launching consumer-facing products and applications
• Hands-on prototyping experience using AI development tools (for example Cursor, Claude, Replit) to validate product concepts

Compensation and location

Salary: USD 151,200 to 204,600 per year

Preferred qualifications

• Experience defining and launching consumer-facing products powered by GenAI capabilities such as LLM integrations
• Understanding of GenAI technologies including prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and agentic systems
• Experience with AI-first product development workflows and driving adoption of AI tools across product and engineering teams
