Job Description

Own and improve Citi’s digital payments experience while shaping the roadmap for Payments and Transfers capabilities for clients worldwide. This hybrid role in Charlotte supports a sustainable way to work (3 days in the office, 2 days remotely) and places you at the center of a global network spanning UX, technology, analytics, and fintech partners. You will lead product strategy and execution for Small Business payment solutions, including Wires, ACH, and embedded banking, with measurable focus on adoption, client satisfaction, and business impact.

What you’ll do

  • Take end-to-end ownership of the digital payment journey, covering Wires and ACH payment initiation, servicing, and reporting to deliver seamless experiences at scale for Small Business clients.
  • Lead product management for Digital Cash Management solutions, including Wire Payments and ACH originations for Small Businesses.
  • Drive development and execution of strategic product roadmaps for Payments and Transfers capabilities, coordinating launches, enhancements, and marketing plans to maximize business impact.
  • Shape client value propositions, pricing strategies, segmentation, and channel positioning to strengthen Citi’s competitive position in digital payments.
  • Collaborate with UX, technology, and analytics teams to translate client needs into scalable, intuitive digital solutions that improve adoption and satisfaction.
  • Use competitive and market research, plus client insights, to identify opportunities and set product strategy and delivery priorities.
  • Test product hypotheses using qualitative and quantitative data to validate solutions and guide decisions that support engagement and revenue performance.
  • Coordinate digital integration efforts with fintech partners, third-party vendors, and internal technology teams, extending capabilities through APIs and embedded banking models.
  • Mentor newer team members and help sustain a performance-focused environment where blockers are resolved quickly and delivery remains on track.

What you bring

  • 6-10 years of product management experience with proven success owning digital products across the full lifecycle.
  • Preferred experience in Small Business B2B or B2C payments or Cash Management Solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with digital payment products and client journey mapping, with the ability to turn complex needs into product solutions.
  • Strong analytical capability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data, identify customer pain points, and validate product decisions with evidence.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities independently, maintain delivery momentum under pressure, and adapt quickly when requirements change.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to align cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders on product priorities.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors or fintech partners in a regulated financial services environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent university qualification required.

Additional experience that supports success

  • Background in product management, product development, marketing, acquisitions, or product analytics within financial services.
  • Familiarity with API-based product integrations or embedded banking models.

Salary range: USD 114,720 - 172,080 per year.
Location: Charlotte, NC (hybrid).
