Job Description

Compass is building a modern, end-to-end real estate platform that brings agents, buyers, and sellers together through technology. This onsite opportunity is based in Boston, MA, with a salary range of USD 137,000 – 152,000 per year. You will own Inventory within the Search and Listings organization, overseeing Reverse Prospecting, Make Me Sell, Buyer Demand, and Network, and you will prioritize Compass inventory such as Private Exclusive and Coming Soon programs. The role follows an agile lifecycle from concept through adoption, with a focus on enhancing agent workflows and delivering tangible value.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver customer-facing enhancements that streamline agent workflows
  • Shape the product roadmap and prioritize innovative, engaging features
  • Lead the Inventory domain (Reverse Prospecting, Make Me Sell, Buyer Demand, Network) with emphasis on Private Exclusive and Coming Soon programs
  • Apply an agile cadence through monthly leadership syncs to adapt to shifting market dynamics
  • Own and manage the software development lifecycle for Compass products from concept and user research through development, launch, and adoption
  • Deliver and maintain features while monitoring key performance metrics to assess impact and identify opportunities to add value for agents and their clients
  • Help define high level product direction by collaborating with agents, consumers, and internal stakeholders to address real challenges

Requirements

  • 5–9 years of progressive product management experience launching successful products and features
  • Ability to gather and prioritize requirements from diverse sources, extracting core needs and reconciling stakeholder differences
  • Experience working with business stakeholders at the executive level
  • Strong consensus-building and relationship skills, with a track record of aligning resources across functions
  • Ability to influence others and lead without formal authority in cross-functional and executive settings
  • Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • B.S. or equivalent in a technical discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics) is strongly preferred
