Senior Product Manager, Product Strategy
Job Description
Realtor.com’s Core Product Strategy team is building products that add measurable value for agent and broker clients. As a Senior Product Manager on this team, you will translate corporate strategy into product strategy, take ownership of roadmap bets for value-add services, and drive improved conversion and close through clear execution and outcome accountability. The role pairs in-person collaboration with a focus on metrics, experimentation, and cross-functional partnership.
What you’ll do
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for RDC’s Value Add Services portfolio and other products that extend beyond the primary leads business.
- Assess the market and competitive landscape for value-add and adjacent categories, identifying where RDC has the strongest client value and a right to win.
- Partner with GM’s, the corporate strategy team, analytics, finance, and Product Strategy to define strategy, build investment business cases, and secure buy-in before committing roadmap capacity.
- Pressure-test opportunities using revenue modeling and business case development, aligning confidence levels and guardrails with expected results and scalability.
- Set test-and-invest plans for new products and capabilities, sequencing pilots and validating demand before full roadmap commitments.
- Translate strategic bets into execution-ready product briefs that include problem definition, target outcomes, scope, sequencing, and success metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to define product solutions, and work with delivery-team product managers and engineering leads to hand off detailed briefs.
- Stay engaged through development (not just handoff), and remain accountable to the metrics and results used in the original business case.
- Lead research and discovery for each brief and recommendation, including market and competitive research, client and user insight, and stakeholder input.
- Maintain a coherent narrative across lead and value-add products, tying work back to broader portfolio strategy, brand framework, and pricing and packaging strategy.
- Represent Product Strategy in cross-functional planning forums to align on scope and sequencing before work begins.
What you bring
- 8+ years of experience in product strategy and management.
- Strong experience assessing market and competitive landscapes and building a right-to-win case for new product bets.
- A track record of producing clear, detailed, execution-ready product briefs or PRDs that delivery teams can act on without heavy back-and-forth.
- Experience related to branding, marketing, or similar value-add or adjacent product categories is a plus.
- Comfort defining vision, strategy, and roadmaps for new or unproven areas, validating demand through testing before full investment.
- Ability to translate ambiguous strategic direction into concrete scope, sequencing, and success measures.
- Ability to communicate a big-picture strategy, secure buy-in, and move from planning to execution with financial modeling and the ability to pivot based on learnings.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with C-level leadership and partners across engineering, design, and data analytics.
- Accountability for outcomes after handoff, including tracking whether delivered products achieve business case metrics.
- Excellent written communication, with briefs that stand on their own.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Benefits

- Family forming benefits
- 13 Paid Holidays
- Flexible Time Off
- 8 hours of paid Volunteer Time Off
- Immediate eligibility into the Company 401(k) plan with 3.5% company match
- Tuition Reimbursement program for degreed and non-degreed programs
- 1:1 personalized Financial Planning Sessions
- Student Debt Retirement Savings Match program
- Free snacks and refreshments in each office location
