Senior Product Manager -Technical

Join Mastercard’s Switching Solutions team to help translate customer and business needs into clear business and functional requirements for core transaction switching systems. This onsite role in O'Fallon, MO brings you close to the work that moves payments forward, with opportunities to collaborate across product, engineering, and project teams from early requirements through post-production lifecycle monitoring.

What you’ll be doing

• Partner with multiple product teams across Mastercard to understand business needs and convert them into business and functional requirements
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to gather estimates, create designs, and drive delivery of requirements
• Act as the voice of the customer by writing requirements, reviewing designs, and contributing to technical and product documentation
• Continuously monitor requirement delivery across the full lifecycle, including testing, production, and post-production

What you’ll need

• Experience in the payments or financial services industry, with intermediate knowledge of how payments are processed using the four-party model
• A proven track record taking ideas from inception to production, spanning requirements, design, testing, implementation, and post-production monitoring
• Ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Strong relationship-building skills and comfort partnering with stakeholders across product, engineering, and executives
• Experience facilitating calls, creating and maintaining documentation, and responding to customer inquiries for projects you own
• Capability to manage multiple projects at different stages
• Alignment with Mastercard’s PM-T best practices, including contributing lessons learned to the broader team
• Experience with agile delivery methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and efficiency mindset, including thinking of new ways to improve processes within Switching Solutions and Mastercard’s core network
• Skills in active listening, collaboration, quickly grasping new concepts, critical thinking, challenging the status quo, and thinking outside the box

Pay range: O'Fallon, Missouri: $104,000 - $177,000 USD per year
