Senior Technical Product Manager, Fleet Ops
Job Description
AeroVect builds Autonomous Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) vehicles, and this role owns the product strategy and execution for Fleet Operations. Based in Atlanta, GA (onsite), you’ll help teams deliver remote assistance capabilities, dispatch systems, and fleet monitoring tooling that keep operations safe, reliable, and scalable for airline and airport customers.
As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you’ll translate operator and customer needs into clear, testable requirements for engineering. You’ll also ensure the roadmap is instrumented so teams can iterate based on data over time.
What you’ll do
- Define and own the Fleet Operations product strategy and roadmap.
- Lead a multi-surface roadmap spanning remote assistance, dispatch, and fleet management.
- Act as the voice of the customer by continuously gathering and synthesizing feedback from airline/airport customers and internal operators to shape priorities.
- Scope phased milestones that unlock value while adding instrumentation for data-driven iterative development.
- Partner with Systems Engineering to decompose product needs into system requirements, test plans, and acceptance criteria.
- Join system design discussions with Infrastructure teams, ensuring architectures align with product goals and operational realities.
- Work with Program Management to track roadmap commitments, surface blockers early, and communicate dependencies.
- Prioritize the product backlog by balancing new features, technical debt, and bug fixes for efficient delivery.
- Serve as the primary Point of Contact and Subject Matter Expert for Fleet Operations products.
- Communicate product vision and status to stakeholders across senior leadership, engineering, operations, and external customers.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise language for non-technical audiences.
What you bring
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of product management experience owning technically complex products end-to-end.
- Experience building operator-facing or operational tooling where reliability and real-time performance are non-negotiable.
- Proven ability to ship 0 to 1 products in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
Nice to have
- Experience building teleoperations, remote assistance, or fleet management products.
- Strong understanding of software development, system architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to engage with infrastructure teams by reading system design documents, reasoning about real-time constraints, and pushing back on technical decisions that do not serve product goals.
- Background in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or safety-critical systems.
- Understanding of dispatch, routing, and resource allocation systems.
- Familiarity with airport/airline operations or large-scale fleet operations.
Compensation: USD 150,000 - 180,000 per year.
