Job Description

Humana is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to design and deliver scalable technology solutions that support the management of Medicare/Medicaid plans and benefits. This role owns the product and platform capability vision and drives cross-functional execution from initial concept through measurable value delivery, with a focus on outcomes for customers and the business.

Role Overview

You will maintain product/platform or major capability direction, including vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery, based on customer, business, and technology needs. You will also define product goals and success measures, use data and user feedback to guide product decisions, and align stakeholders around priorities, delivery plans, and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, own, and maintain product/platform/major capability vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery.
  • Define product goals, success metrics, and key outcomes aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive product decisions using data, user feedback, and business value assessments.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, customer needs, and strategic priorities.
  • Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and capability enhancement.
  • Translate business problems into product requirements with clear acceptance criteria, functional requirements, dependencies, and success metrics, working with product owners.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define solution approaches and delivery strategies aligned to the roadmap.
  • Apply knowledge of system architecture, integrations, data flows, and technical constraints to shape delivery plans.
  • Support prioritization and trade-off decisions balancing customer value, technical feasibility, cost, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure delivery teams understand product requirements, and support product owners in managing and prioritizing the product backlog by business value.
  • Partner with ARTs/Scrum teams to plan releases, sprints, and feature delivery.
  • Monitor progress, remove blockers, and achieve milestones through continuous execution support.
  • Drive continuous improvement via iterative enhancements and feedback cycles.
  • Align stakeholders around priorities, delivery plans, business outcomes, and communicate product strategy, roadmap progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Present product updates and recommendations to leadership teams and maintain trust through transparent, outcome-driven decision-making.
  • Define and track KPIs, adoption metrics, operational effectiveness, and customer satisfaction measures; analyze performance data and feedback to identify opportunities.
  • Contribute to ongoing product evolution through optimization and feature expansion.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any STEM field of study or Business Administration or Management.
  • 5+ years of proven Technical Product Management experience in the current or recent role within a large enterprise.
  • Strong understanding of the Agile framework and product development methodologies.
  • Experience managing product roadmaps and prioritizing backlogs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management ability, with effective collaboration across both business and technical teams.
  • Proficiency using AI tools for daily work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business or management or in a relevant field.
  • Professional certification in Product Management.
  • Experience delivering enterprise software, platform, or digital products.
  • Experience working within large enterprise IT delivery environments.

Hybrid Work and Internet Requirements

  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection is suggested.
  • Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections can be used only if approved by leadership.
  • Associates who live and work from home in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for internet expense.
  • Humana will provide home or hybrid home/office associates with telephone equipment appropriate for business requirements.
  • Work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Location, Schedule, and Pay Range

  • Location: Florida (hybrid)
  • Scheduled weekly hours: 40
  • Pay range: USD 104,000 - 143,000 per year
