Responsibilities
- Represent customer expectations for both new and existing products to guide development
- Explain features in clear terms suitable for the development team
- Oversee and refine product backlog and user stories across multiple agile teams
- Lead backlog grooming sessions with fellow product owners
- Participate in sprint planning and demos, providing feedback to the Scrum team
- Track progress and plan product releases
- Engage with customers and end users to gather information on desired features
- Prepare reports for management and stakeholders on product development status
- Analyze customer feedback to identify high-value features or components
- Evaluate the value stream to pinpoint improvement opportunities
- Measure product performance and delivered value, adjusting as needed
- Develop and execute plans to build and sustain product demand
- Ensure features deliver value to end users and align with strategic goals
- Provide ongoing guidance to agile teams to accelerate delivery timelines
- Challenge agile approaches to enhance overall product value
- Stay informed about technologies and methodologies relevant to the department
- Serve as a subject matter expert in project development and implementation
- Promote best practices and provide capable guidance within the team
- Partner with other departments to leverage shared expertise and resources
- Share best practices with other product owners for enterprise alignment
- Advocate for technical development of team members through agile activities
Compensation
Base salary range USD 116,080 - 159,610 per year. Final offer is based on factors such as job-relevant education, experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, and location, with a potential 25 percent incentive.
