Job Description

Senior Product Manager in Cox Automotive's Inventory Solutions portfolio, onsite in Atlanta, GA, translating strategy into actionable product plans and delivering platform capabilities across release trains for Manheim, Central Dispatch, or Ready Logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Convert business strategy and stakeholder input into concrete product plans; define and prioritize epics and features; keep a comprehensive, well-maintained product roadmap.
  • Partner with release train leaders and cross-functional teams across product, engineering, UX, and operations to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of platform capabilities that maximize value.
  • Lead product discovery and roadmap definition with product leadership; engage stakeholders, coordinate go-to-market planning, and identify future platform opportunities aligned with objectives and operating needs.
  • Shape the product strategy for borrower risk mitigation in line with organizational goals.
  • Conduct market analysis and segmentation to uncover growth opportunities and guide investment prioritization.
  • Define user archetypes and ensure product decisions reflect business goals and customer needs.
  • Direct Program Increment planning and backlog prioritization across multiple teams and release trains.
  • Take ownership of epics and features end-to-end; ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are clear.
  • Collaborate with engineering and UX to deliver high-quality products throughout the full lifecycle.
  • Act as a senior liaison to stakeholders, driving alignment and resolving complex challenges.
  • Advocate for customer and business priorities to shape technology decisions and feature development.
  • Coordinate across delivery streams to preserve a cohesive product vision and execution plan.
  • Convert complex data into actionable insights and measurable outcomes.
  • Track product performance, identify optimization opportunities, and lead testing initiatives.
  • Leverage KPIs and analytics to guide roadmap decisions and ongoing improvements.
  • Apply risk management principles to product decisions to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain traceability and rigor across requirements, prioritization, and delivery processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree with 2 years of related experience.
  • PhD with up to 1 year of relevant experience.
  • 16 years of related field experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAFe Agile methodology and experience leading agile teams.
  • Proven ability to manage complex backlogs, prioritize features, and deliver in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience translating data into strategic product decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.
  • Deep understanding of risk management principles, ideally in financial services or lending.
  • Familiarity with data products, analytics platforms, or risk scoring systems.
  • Proficiency with AI tools integrated into product workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and achieve KPIs through strategic initiatives.
  • Technology-savvy with strong requirements analysis and system integration.

Compensation

  • Salary range: USD 101,500.00 - 169,100.00 per year
  • Base pay may vary within the stated range based on location and candidate qualifications
  • Position may be eligible for additional compensation, including incentive programs
