Job Description

This senior technical product management position leads Amazon's centralized marketing experimentation program for Devices and Services, guiding the vision, strategy, and end-to-end execution across global markets and multiple product lines. The role is based in Seattle, WA onsite, with a salary range of USD 151,200 to 204,600 per year. A bachelor's degree and at least seven years of related experience are required.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision, guiding principles, strategy, and a multi-year roadmap for centralized marketing experimentation across Devices and Services.
  • Balance near-term delivery with long-term ambition, establishing experimentation as a core competency for the business.
  • Collaborate with PL marketers across paid search, display, social, video, TV, and owned media to design statistically rigorous randomized controlled trials.
  • Own global prioritization of experiments, ensure design quality, and uphold execution standards.
  • Partner with economists to define valid RCTs, create templates, develop power calculation guidelines, and set quality bars.
  • Build relationships with PL marketing leaders to demonstrate the value of experimentation.
  • Develop self-service tools that enable marketing teams to set up experiments, configure randomization logic, and launch tests across platforms.
  • Create pre-flight validation to prevent common design mistakes.
  • Implement monitoring systems to track experiment progress, address data quality issues, and alert when tests reach statistical significance.
  • Build insights reporting that summarizes results, validates model predictions, and offers optimization recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the Incrementality Modeling and Spend Optimization team to align experiment results with incrementality models.
  • Coordinate with the Data Infrastructure team to ensure experiment data flows into pipelines and reporting.
  • Translate complex statistical concepts into actionable product requirements.
  • Implement metrics tracking for experiment velocity, quality, and impact.
  • Establish regular business reviews with senior leadership to communicate progress and escalate blockers.
  • Manage resource planning and prioritization, weighing the trade-offs between building new capabilities and maintaining existing systems.
  • Navigate technical complexity and cross-functional dependencies across four workstreams while aligning competing stakeholder priorities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with feature delivery and the tradeoffs involved in a product.
  • Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
