Sr. Product Manager - Tech, Route Planning
Job Description
Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Technical for Route Planning to guide the next generation of routing logic for Last Mile operations, accelerating orders from click to delivery. This onsite role in Bellevue, WA combines technical leadership with cross-organizational collaboration to translate complex routing science into scalable solutions. The position offers a yearly compensation range of USD 151,200 to 204,600.
Responsibilities
- Create strategic roadmaps in an ambiguous space that demands deep knowledge of science-based logic and algorithms as well as on-road operations, not merely a backlog of user improvements.
- Align multiple partner teams across several VP organizations to drive goal results.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the decisions and outputs of 50+ systems that culminate in route creation.
- Collaborate closely with science teams and with engineering teams.
- Develop, groom, and manage intake processes, roadmaps, backlogs, and refinement planning.
- Pilot and experiment rapidly to validate hypotheses.
- Work in simulated environments to explore what-if scenarios and inform decision making.
- Operate with a results-oriented mindset, launching transformational products under tight deadlines while maintaining strong operational focus and deep-dive capabilities; continuously identify optimization opportunities and work with science and technology partners to implement the roadmap, monitor progress, and plan for scale, leveraging analytical and influencing skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience delivering features and evaluating tradeoffs of a product.
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and product strategy.
- Experience managing technical products or online services.
- Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
