Job Description

Amazon Robotics seeks a Supply Chain Product Manager to oversee a portfolio of robotics products in sustained production, accountable for supplier and supply chain performance, cost and lead time optimization, and lifecycle operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Direct end-to-end supply chain management for assigned robotics products, collaborating with cross-functional teams focused on supplier performance, cost and lead time optimization, supply chain execution, and ongoing process improvements in production.
  • Serve as the primary interface for program resources to relay supply chain decisions and status, offer input on supply chain implications of program decisions, and assist with financial planning and capital approvals.
  • Collaborate with Robotics leadership to align Supply Chain with hardware engineering, operations, and program teams on commodity and supplier performance, cost tradeoffs, cost roadmap development and execution, and scaled deployment excellence.
  • Define and execute the product level supply chain strategy, including critical components and supplier management, a cost roadmap to meet payback targets, capacity planning and sourcing needs, and risk assessment and mitigation plans.
  • Partner with sourcing to craft negotiation strategies for relevant categories to meet business objectives and establish durable relationships with strategic suppliers aligned to priority programs per the operating plan.
  • Collaborate with Global Category Managers to oversee supplier relationships, performance, capability development, capacity planning, contracting, risk mitigation, and cost and quality improvements.
  • Develop and implement a roadmap to meet GA total cost targets, including make vs. buy decisions and value engineering opportunities.
  • Ensure non-cost objectives such as lead time, on-time delivery, sustainability, supplier development, and cost savings are integral to the product specific supply chain strategy.
  • Lead root cause analysis and process improvements to prevent disruptions and maintain sustained operational excellence.
  • Travel approximately 20 to 25 percent of the time.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing or procurement, or vendor management.
  • 3+ years collaborating across technology and non-technical teams.
  • 3+ years defining and implementing data-driven process improvements using metrics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and SQL.
  • Experience translating program requirements into measurable improvements using data and metrics.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

The GA Supply Chain Product Management team develops supply chain strategies for FTR products from initial production scaling through sustained operations, deployment, and end of life.
