The Associate Product Manager will support FLINN SCIENTIFIC INC’s product management team in building and executing product strategies. This role emphasizes product lifecycle management and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer needs and company objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Location and Employment Details

  • Location: Batavia, IL (onsite)
  • Salary: USD 59,000 to 60,000 per year

Role Summary

The Associate Product Manager assists with developing and implementing product strategies and roadmaps. The position focuses on concept-to-launch execution, post-launch evaluation, and ongoing improvements driven by market insights and user feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and executing product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends.
  • Work with engineering, design, and marketing teams to maintain alignment with business objectives.
  • Support the product lifecycle from concept through launch, including post-launch analysis.
  • Help define product requirements and specifications based on customer feedback and market analysis.
  • Monitor product performance and collect user feedback to guide future enhancements.
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams on product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
  • Assist in preparing product documentation, including user guides and training materials.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment on product goals and deliverables.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of product management processes and methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in product management or a related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage product life cycles from conception to launch.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and support informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clearly articulating complex concepts.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
  • Familiarity with market research and competitive analysis techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
