Junior Product Manager
Job Description
Deutsche Börse Group is building data products that serve the investment fund industry, and it is looking for a Junior Product Manager to join the Data Solutions Product team in Cork. In this role, you will support the end-to-end creation of data products and services while partnering closely across Product, Data, Operations, and Technology with an AI-native mindset.
You will help shape what comes next for clients dealing with regulatory reporting, fund distribution, and data management challenges, turning business and operational needs into well-defined product features and user requirements.
What you’ll do
- Support the development and enhancement of data products and services across the portfolio
- Work with Senior Product Managers to define, refine, and prioritise product requirements
- Translate business, client, and operational needs into clear product features and user requirements
- Contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation and discovery through testing, launch, and post-release evaluation
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Operations, and Technology teams
- Challenge existing processes, workflows, and product approaches
- Identify opportunities where AI, automation, and emerging technologies can improve products, operations, and customer experiences
- Experiment with new tools and ways of working and share insights with the wider team
- Support requirement-gathering activities, including workshops and working sessions
- Facilitate communication between business and technical stakeholders
- Help ensure priorities, decisions, risks, and dependencies are documented and clearly understood
- Contribute to product communications and stakeholder updates
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, curiosity, and learning
- Build effective working relationships across Product, Operations, and Technology teams, as well as business stakeholders
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in product management, business analysis, consulting, technology, operations, or related disciplines (recent graduates are encouraged)
- Interest in financial services, data products, and technology-driven businesses
- Curiosity about AI, automation, and innovation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate effectively with different audiences
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working with data and evidence-based decision making
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with AI tools and modern digital productivity platforms
- Exposure to Agile, product management, or project management practices is advantageous but not required
