Lead Digital Product Manager
Job Description
Lead the enterprise Developer Tools product strategy and delivery for Development Enablement at Wells Fargo, driving adoption, modernization, and measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own product vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for the Developer Tools portfolio
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog aligned to business objectives, developer needs, modernization goals, and regulatory requirements
- Define and track product KPIs and measures across adoption, modernization outcomes, developer productivity, and customer satisfaction
- Collect customer feedback from engineering teams and convert insights into roadmap priorities and product enhancements
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development and engineering automation opportunities that improve developer productivity
- Communicate product strategy, roadmap progress, business value, risks, and outcomes to senior technology leaders and executive stakeholders
- Translate technology strategy, developer needs, and industry trends into measurable product outcomes
- Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Risk, and Operations leaders to align priorities and investment decisions
- Own and prioritize a portfolio spanning developer tools, platforms, and services
- Lead tool rationalization, modernization, and ongoing lifecycle management initiatives
- Manage product investment plans, business cases, vendor relationships, and financial optimization opportunities
- Improve developer satisfaction, productivity, and onboarding experiences over time
- Establish adoption strategies and success metrics across engineering organizations
- Use usage analytics, productivity insights, and developer feedback to guide roadmap decisions
- Drive change management including communications, training, and enablement programs
- Manage dependencies across multiple products, platforms, and stakeholder groups
Requirements
- 5+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
- Strong product ownership experience in enterprise software platforms, developer tools, frameworks, or shared technology services
- Experience defining product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes tied to business objectives
- Strong stakeholder management to influence engineering leaders, architects, developers, and executive leadership without direct authority
- Analytical, data-driven decision-making including definition and tracking of product KPIs, OKRs, and adoption metrics
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development and developer productivity platforms, including Agent Skills, Copilot, and automation tooling (highly desirable)
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, remove organizational impediments, and align multiple teams and stakeholders
- Technical background in software engineering, architecture, or platform engineering (preferred)
- Experience with software engineering, application development, or platform engineering
- Knowledge of Developer Experience (DevEx) principles and developer productivity frameworks
