Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and convert them into actionable user stories plus supporting artifacts (journey maps, process flows, wireframes).
  • Lead story elaboration and provide clarifications to delivery teams during the sprint and release lifecycle.
  • Continuously refine and maintain the product backlog so items are clear, valuable, and ordered for business impact.
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, technical improvements, and defects using value, risk, dependencies, effort, and time sensitivity.
  • Maintain backlog readiness by keeping epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria well-defined, including Definition of Ready/Done.
  • Act as the primary product liaison across business, technology, operations, compliance, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Facilitate alignment by setting expectations, negotiating scope, and managing competing priorities across stakeholder groups.

  • Collaborate with the Scrum Master and cross-functional teams to support sprint planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Align stakeholders on technical direction, integration needs, and non-functional requirements (performance, reliability, scalability).
  • Participate in or lead Agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, review, retrospective) to keep delivery focused on outcomes.
  • Make timely product decisions within assigned scope, including sequencing, acceptance, and release readiness.
  • Coordinate release planning with IT, QA, DevOps, operations, training, and support teams.
  • Ensure released documentation, communications, training materials, and change management plans are completed.
  • Validate product readiness via UAT, signoffs, and operational preparedness.
  • Track and monitor product success metrics (adoption, conversion, cycle time, NPS/DSS/CSAT, cost-to-serve, defect trends) and apply learnings to continuous improvement.
  • Communicate product progress, performance, and risks with clear stakeholder updates.
  • Work with architects, IT leads, UX, data, security, and platform teams to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with product strategy.
  • Identify, manage, and communicate cross-team and cross-platform dependencies, proactively mitigating delivery risks and bottlenecks.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to maintain alignment on product vision, scope, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and partners to support delivery commitments, integration requirements, and performance expectations alongside internal teams.
  • Contribute product insight and business domain knowledge to support the digital and technology vision and roadmap for HCA’s digital channels.
  • Support translation of strategic objectives into aligned goals, outcomes, and feature priorities to improve dealer and customer experiences.
  • Ensure requirements comply with relevant security, privacy, regulatory, accessibility, and audit standards (as applicable).
