San Francisco, CA $136k - $185k/yr Full time Posted 3h ago

Job Description

Levi Strauss & Co. is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead Digital Product Creation work centered on line planning and design. The role owns a suite of tools and capabilities end to end, connecting line plan and sketching workflows to merchandising, PD, and downstream systems.

Role Overview

As part of the Digital Product Creation program, you will define the future for Line planning and Design and drive product strategy to rewire collaboration from line plan to sketching. You will also ensure those outputs connect cleanly to merchandising, PD, and downstream systems while translating the vision into use cases, requirements, and user stories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and promote a vision for the future of Line planning and Design.
  • Lead product strategy to rewire the way teams work from line plan to sketching, and how both connect to merchandising, PD, and downstream systems.
  • Motivate partners, other PMs, and the technical team around the vision and the value it creates.
  • Manage a suite of tools and capabilities supporting Global Merch and Design end to end.
  • Translate the product vision into use cases, requirements, and user stories.
  • Own the full product development lifecycle, using prototypes and MVPs to test assumptions and refine direction based on user engagement.
  • Collect and summarize data to be data-informed and comfortable leading with recommendations.
  • Use experimentation to form hypotheses, run tests, and learn what works and does not work for fans and the business.
  • Partner with stakeholders and operations to document current-state processes, identify opportunities to rewire workflows, and guide process change and adoption.
  • Establish OKRs and an analytics strategy to shape insights.
  • Monitor goal progress on daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences.
  • Manage a dynamic product backlog, prioritizing new ideas, user enhancement requests, competitive analysis, and engagement data.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors where applicable.
  • Communicate product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners, and influence the vendor roadmap to prioritize enhancements or new capabilities.
  • Make tradeoffs between using out of the box functionality and customizing the platform to meet business needs.
  • Support product releases, and lead rollout and adoption with business operations teams, including communication and launch planning for users.
  • Stay current on industry trends and evolving technologies in line planning and design.
  • Conduct competitive analysis across other retailers to inform next steps.
  • Contribute to the product organization by sharing improved ways of working and mentoring to help level up the team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in product management, math, statistics, engineering, computer science, or other quantitative fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with preference for experience in new build and third-party vendor platforms.
  • Comfort across the full product journey from discovery through adoption.
  • Proven reputation for clear documentation of user journeys, epics, and requirements.
  • Experience using data and insights to inform product development, including the ability to summarize insights and lead with clear recommendations.
  • Track record in product discovery and rallying teams.
  • Strong curiosity about the industry and the craft, including learning what other retailers are doing and how technologies are evolving.
  • Ability to promote collaboration and new ideas across geographical and cultural boundaries.
  • Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to a range of audiences across multiple departments.
