Product Manager, Commerce Platform & Channels
Job Description
Join Warner Music Group in New York, NY (onsite) as a Product Manager supporting third-party commerce channels that extend its Shopify eCommerce network. This role is built for someone who wants to help shape how fans discover and buy artist products across social platforms, third-party marketplaces, AI-powered shopping experiences, and future digital sales channels. Salary range: USD 80,000 - 95,000 per year.
You’ll work at the intersection of product strategy, roadmap execution, and ecosystem partnerships, helping translate business strategy into commerce capabilities that improve the fan experience and drive measurable performance.
What you’ll do
- Own product strategy and roadmap for third-party commerce channels that extend Warner Music’s Shopify storefronts, catalogs, and customer reach.
- Evaluate and support the implementation of new Shopify apps, platform capabilities, and third-party sales channel integrations to improve fan experience and business performance.
- Define requirements and success metrics, and support delivery from discovery through launch and ongoing optimization.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external technology providers to launch and optimize new commerce capabilities.
- Stay current on emerging commerce trends, including AI-powered shopping, agentic commerce, and new digital sales channels, and share ideas that support fan experience and business growth.
- Educate stakeholders on current and developing capabilities, and establish best practices for re-use of mature capabilities across artist rosters and stores.
What you bring
- 2-3 years of Product Management experience, with a background in eCommerce or digital commerce.
- Experience supporting products or integrations that drive online commerce, marketplaces, social commerce, or digital sales channels.
- Experience working with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms.
- Understanding of product catalogs, inventory, order management, and third-party integrations.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with development, design, operations, marketing, and external partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
Bonus points (preferred)
- Comfort using data to prioritize product decisions and measure business impact.
- Experience owning a product area tied to measurable goals such as revenue, conversion, or customer growth.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
