Product Manager - Cooling Solutions
Job Description
The Product Manager for cooling solutions within Eaton's Distributed IT organization will own the strategy, profitability, and lifecycle management of the Global Data Center segment's product line. This role is based in Raleigh, NC or Woodridge, IL with remote US options and reports to the Product Line Manager – White Space Applications within the D-IT business unit.
Responsibilities
- Direct and implement the product line strategy, driving development initiatives and go-to-market programs to accelerate orders and revenue while sustaining profitability.
- Develop and execute short- and long-term objectives and business plans for the product line, aligning with data center segment priorities and market dynamics. Track performance against key metrics such as sales growth, market share, pricing, and profitability while upholding product quality and competitiveness.
- Oversee the development and market introduction of new products.
- Create and own product roadmaps and manage lifecycle execution.
- Lead regular financial reviews of the product line, including forecasting, performance analysis, market share trends, and competitive benchmarking. Provide data-driven insights and reports to guide strategic decisions and optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Segments, Business Development, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality functions.
- Represent the strategic vision at industry events, working with alliance partners and end customers to address evolving industry challenges.
- Be accountable for the product line P&L, including demand accuracy, pricing, margin, and profit.
- Build and lead a high-performing team that fosters collaboration, accountability, and innovation to align with the data center segment's goals and priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- At least five years of experience in the electrical mechanical industry or data center segment.
- At least three years of experience in Product Management or a closely related field.

Compensation
Annual base salary range is USD 113,000 to USD 165,000.
