Senior Digital Product Manager

As an individual contributor Senior Product Manager, you will lead high-volume Transfer & Pay experiences for Charles Schwab’s Digital Retail Digital Payments and Move Money team, spanning web and mobile. The role combines product discovery, day-to-day product management, and cross-functional leadership to shape how clients move assets into, between, and out of Schwab.

Role Overview

In this position, you will own product discovery and product management activities for Transfers & Pay functions. You will collaborate with design and delivery partners to define and drive improvements for critical money movement capabilities, supporting the team’s goal of making it easier for clients to get funds where they want.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead across Transfers & Pay functions to help craft the future money movement at Schwab.
• Own critical, high-volume Transfer & Pay experiences delivered across web and mobile channels.
• Work continuously with high-performing scrum teams, including bug management, establishing clear acceptance criteria and consistent user stories, and identifying and driving closure of dependencies.
• Lead product discovery for assigned products in partnership with design to enable experience enhancements.
• Build understanding of complex backend integrations to deliver high-quality experiences that delight clients.
• Use storytelling to frame problems and opportunities, influencing strategic roadmaps and alignment across leadership and cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of strong product management and/or program management experience, including demonstrated ability to develop and implement product strategies and deliver high-priority initiatives
• Product management experience in financial services
• Passion for digital innovation and commitment to a superb client experience
• Superior communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex messages, trade-offs, and tell a compelling story
• Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team using an interactive process and an Agile development methodology
• Ability to build effective relationships cross-functionally and cross-enterprise, working effectively across various levels of the organization and different personality types
• Strong process management discipline, including understanding how to implement process practices
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Highly developed understanding or program management experience across multiple businesses
• Post graduate degree
• Expertise in Schwab move money processes and experiences

Compensation and Location

• Location: Austin, TX; Westlake, TX (onsite)
• Compensation: USD 130,000 - 170,000 per year
