Senior Product Manager
Job Description
Houzz is seeking a Senior Product Manager (remote in Illinois) to lead the Documents Track for Houzz Pro. In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of project documentation, turning complex business workflows and platform logic into product experiences that help pros manage costs and billing with reliable data and strong execution across teams.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end document journey, from the initial customer lead through to the final paid invoice.
- Translate high-stakes business challenges into product strategies designed to support growth while improving customer workflows.
- Deliver product capabilities that provide pros with real-time visibility into how Change Orders, Purchase Orders, and scope adjustments affect overall project margins.
- Maintain strict data accuracy and clear transaction logic across financial documents and flows, ensuring alignment with the platform’s unified data model.
- Collaborate with Payments, Reporting, Accounting, and Core Platform teams to streamline document automation and produce unified business insights for pros.
- Draft clear PRDs, manage product backlogs, and lead sprint planning to ship high-impact features that improve Pro efficiency and retention.
- Define and track core performance metrics, including feature adoption, document completion speed, and workflow conversion rates.
- Work closely with Product Design and Houzz Pro customers to convert multi-step administrative workflows into intuitive, low-friction experiences.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of Product Management experience owning complex, multi-step B2B SaaS workflows.
- A proven ability to influence cross-functional partners, including Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, and Support.
- Experience using quantitative data and product analytics to improve user journeys and system performance.
- Strong command of data modeling, workflow logic, status transitions, and handling edge cases within complex platform architecture.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to support collaboration with global development teams and international customers.
Additional Qualifications (Ideal)
- A baseline understanding of US business accounting workflows, job costing, or sales tax concepts.
- Experience with invoicing, AP/AR workflows, billing, or ERP integrations such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Familiarity with home construction, remodeling, or trade business operations.
