Senior Product Manager
Job Description
Wilson Language Training is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead the management and development of the Acadience suite of assessments. This role owns product management for the Acadience assessments platform and partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders and engineers to deliver the product roadmap, support launches, and advance go-to-market efforts.
This position is remote and centers on upcoming and ongoing initiatives for the Acadience product line, including the launch of a new edition of Acadience reading K-6.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple Acadience assessment products and priorities, with focus on the upcoming launch of the new edition of Acadience reading K-6 and other roadmap items.
- Apply deep knowledge of both product management and K-12 assessments, including technical background and content expertise, to clearly articulate market needs and development priorities.
- Frame and document requirements and user stories to guide the cross-functional team through discovery, definition, development, and launch of assessment products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups to support the development and production of print materials related to the Acadience assessments.
- Lead usability studies, research, and market analysis to strengthen product requirements and improve user satisfaction.
- Work closely with UI/UX teams to iterate on feature designs; document and refine product requirements with engineering teams using detailed user stories and acceptance criteria; review test cases and lead product acceptance.
- Analyze product usage data, knowledge of the market, target user and technology needs, and competitors to inform product decisions and evaluate product success.
- Lead go-to-market efforts for product initiatives, serving as a product expert to answer questions and provide resources for customer-facing teams.
- Support teams in identifying and mitigating risk, using data to make priority decisions.
- Understand and display WLT’s values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management experience in the K-12 assessment space, collaborating with research, design, and engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Demonstrated success partnering with business owners and cross-functional teams through development processes for education technology applications.
- Experience using product data to inform product decisions; advanced data analytics skills are preferred.
- Proven ability to work effectively with individual contributors and leaders across levels in constructive, collaborative relationships.
- Experience presenting to internal teams and customers.
Education or Certification
- Bachelor’s or higher degree, preferably in technology/engineering or education-related fields, or equivalent work experience.
- Classroom teaching experience is a plus, especially in Language Arts/Reading.

Compensation: USD 115,000 - 140,000 per year.
