Senior Product Manager, Agency Management
Job Description
GEICO Product and Sales is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead Agency Management for the Independent Agent (IA) sales channel. This hybrid role (on-site 2-3 days per week) supports agent onboarding and the administration/configuration needed to scale agency partnerships. You will work across business, engineering, and design to build tools and systems that help independent agents succeed while enabling GEICO to deliver seamless, scalable experiences.
What you’ll do
- Own the product lifecycle end-to-end, guiding cross-functional teams from concept to launch and beyond.
- Gather actionable insights through market research, competitive analysis, and agent interviews to inform product decisions.
- Set priorities for features and initiatives using agent feedback, business impact, and technical feasibility, including making trade-off decisions when necessary.
- Drive delivery by defining requirements, managing the backlog, and ensuring timely, high-quality releases.
- Track product performance continuously, analyze metrics, and iterate to improve user experience and business outcomes.
- Develop options and recommendations with partners, working through trade-offs to remove impediments for the team.
- Partner closely with engineering to deliver secure, resilient, performant, and scalable solutions that address meaningful agency and business problems.
What you bring
- 5+ years in agile product management.
- Experience managing all aspects of a tech feature from concept through delivery.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience equivalent.
Hybrid location
This position is hybrid and requires being on-site 2-3 days a week at one of the following locations:
- Bethesda, MD
- Palo Alto, CA
- Seattle, WA
- Dallas, TX
Preferred qualifications
- Insurance industry experience.
- Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
- Strong accountability and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using both quantitative and qualitative data to guide design decisions and drive change.
- Experience delivering iterative value using a minimum viable product approach and regularly reporting on performance, including wins and opportunities.
- Knowledge across multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, and Customer Support.
- Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation
Annual salary: $140,425.00 - $229,600.00. The annual salary range is a general guideline; the final offer is based on factors including scope and responsibilities, experience, education and training, work location, and market and business considerations.
