Sr. Highway Product Manager
Job Description
Sr. Highway Product Manager role supporting Highway products by translating customer needs into a competitive product roadmap and driving cross-functional execution.
Responsibilities
- Understand, anticipate, and map customer needs for the Highway segment across Long Haul and Regional Haul applications
- Create PMRs (product/feature development request documentation) for customer needs and/or competitive gaps
- Coordinate follow-up with Project Management and Engineering (TTI) organization to support delivery of PMRs and related projects
- Ensure a competitive and optimal Highway product offer by continuously streamlining the offer portfolio
- Coordinate and lead marketing initiatives to drive upsell of value-added features and options in partnership with Brand & Marketing and Commercial Operations
- Provide input to the Strategic Pricing team for new features, products, and overall price management
- Support the Commercial organization with Product and Freight Applications expertise; attend customer meetings as required
- Attend selected trade shows for booth support or competitor/customer research
- Collaborate with Commercial Operations to help ensure Highway products are easy to order
- Collaborate with Competence Development to develop and deliver Highway products training for the Mack Dealer Network
- Follow up with Uptime and Quality organizations on quality issues related to Highway products
- Perform other duties as assigned by the VP, Highway Product Owner

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration; MBA preferred
- Prior experience with product management, product development, business development and/or sales
- Familiarity with all Marketing “4 Ps” (Product, Price, Place, Promotion), with direct experience in at least one
- Experience setting priorities with cross-functional and complex organizations
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Action-oriented: create new solutions and business to achieve best results
- Holistic view including Mack Trucks, competitive landscape, the customer, and the dealer network

- USD 128,300 - 158,400 per year
