Job Description
Join Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle as a Senior Product Manager within AWS Pricing for EC2. This onsite role offers a competitive salary of USD 151,200 to 204,600 per year, along with a robust benefits package. You will define pricing roadmaps, serve as the EC2 pricing subject matter expert, and lead private pricing deals in collaboration with Deals Desk, GTM, and account teams. A Bachelor’s degree is required to qualify for this position.

Responsibilities
- Shape clear, high quality roadmaps aligned with team strategy and long term vision
- Craft precise business cases and user stories to guide pricing strategies, product specifications, and new features
- Develop business cases, competitive analyses, pricing analyses, and financial (P&L) models
- Collaborate with product and service leaders, sales teams, solution architects, business development, and engineering to resolve complex product and pricing challenges
- Establish yourself as the pricing subject matter expert for select services and use cases; propose features and tools to help customers adopt AWS offerings more easily
- Balance prioritization between customer experience, performance, and operational support load
- Create robust reporting for executive leadership
- Act as the weekly service level approver for AWS largest private deals
- Lead requirements from Deals Desk and partner teams, coordinating with AWS Fintech to integrate pricing optimization into the Deal Management Console (DMC)
- Define metrics to ensure features and products meet or exceed expectations
- Assist with deal requests alongside Deals Desk and co-author private pricing strategy papers that become 5Q and PRFAQ artifacts for new private pricing features
- Participate in on call rotation to address customer questions about pricing and implementation
- Co own the Deal Management Console roadmap across services supported by Deals Desk (EC2, Storage, EBS, among others) and the EC2 Private Pricing roadmap
- Develop EC2 Private Pricing models to provide competitive prices for strategic customers, onboarding these models to the DMC for use by Deals Desk and other teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience delivering features and managing tradeoffs within a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and product strategy
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience representing and advocating for diverse customers and stakeholders during executive level prioritization and planning
