Job Description

Senior Product Manager for EC2 Core Pricing leads Deal Management Console roadmaps and pricing models to win private pricing deals within AWS Private Pricing.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Deal Intake Module within Deal Management Console for EC2.
  • Co-own the Deal Management Console roadmap for all Deals Desk supported services (EC2, Storage, EBS, among others) and the EC2 Private Pricing Roadmap.
  • DMC is used by Deals Desk to analyze, qualify, and approve deals submitted by Sales teams.
  • The EC2 Private Pricing roadmap defines pricing models to offer competitive prices to our most strategic customers.
  • Pricing models are onboarded to DMC for Deals Desk and other teams to use.
  • This role acts as the EC2 Core Pricing SME.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Customer Engagement, Specialist Organization, Go-To-Market, and Account Teams to develop pricing models that win more private pricing deals.
  • Serve as the weekly service-level approver for AWS's largest private deals.
  • Manage requirements from Deals Desk and partner teams.
  • Partner with AWS Fintech to explore integrating pricing optimization functionality into DMC.
  • Define metrics to ensure features and products meet or exceed expectations.
  • Shadow deal requests with Deals Desk and co-author private pricing strategy papers that become 5Q and PRFAQ artifacts for new private pricing features.
  • Serve on rotation to assist customers with pricing questions and implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and evaluating tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
