Job Description
UX/UI focused Product Manager responsible for leading the frontend customer experience and merchandising strategy for the Car Rental vertical, coordinating across the Brex and Capital One Travel portals.

- Salary: USD 179,700 - 205,100 per year

Responsibilities
- Own the Front-End Car Funnel: Lead the end-to-end user journey for car rentals across the Brex and Capital One Travel portals, from initial search and discovery to checkout and confirmation.
- Intelligent Merchandising: Define how car rental inventory, rates, and add-ons such as insurance and fuel options are structured, prioritized, and displayed to users to maximize engagement and conversions.
- Bridge the Complex to the Simple: Collaborate closely with the backend supply team to translate API capabilities and negotiated rates into clean, intuitive UI/UX features.
- A/B Testing and Optimization: Continuously analyze user behavior, identify drop-off points, and optimize checkout funnels by running experiments to improve the digital product experience.
Requirements
- Currently holds, or is in the process of obtaining, one of the following with the expectation that the degree will be conferred on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), or Business or Marketing
- Bachelor's degree in any field and 3 years of Product Management experience

- Marketplace/eCommerce: Strong product background scaling high-traffic consumer marketplaces or ecommerce funnels.
- Heavy UX/UI Focus: Proven track record delivering consumer-centric, design-forward features with a keen eye for information architecture and presenting complex options clearly, such as varying car tiers and rental policies.
- Supply & Demand Fluency: Understands conversion nuances in transactional funnels where supply availability and pricing shift dynamically.

- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Deep understanding of user psychology, funnel friction, and creating seamless checkout flows.
- Data-Driven Merchandising: Ability to use data to determine optimal ways to bundle, filter, and surface products to consumers.
